You know, I have another question that's been plaguing me. It's the first time I've ever given consideration for it, but it's been driving me nuts. And for good reasons. I ask you this too (and I sincerely want your opinion), but can one control who he or she falls in love with? I have never been one to believe in fate, but I still ask myself, what causes love? Is it conscience when it's decided, do you mentally think "this is the person I want to be in love with"? Is it subconscience, so that in your mind there are set variables set up from birth (or example) of what you look for in love? I have seen arguments going in both directions. For instance, business marriages work, but there is no love in them. Just fiscal attraction. Then again, I've also seen that people who spend long periods of time with each other grow deep emotional attachment (aka, love). With this second example, there is the general exception for people who grew up together. I don't like to think, though, that there is some greater being controlling who I want to spend the rest of my life with. In the end, I'm just placing the blame on myself. To what degree I can do that, though, I don't know. I can understand why it is that this subject has been on the minds of philosophers as long as it has.
Anyway, as mentioned in a previous post, Kayla, Jake, Mikey, and I all went to six flags today. I'll go ahead and let you know it was the one in St. Louis, because we just like that one more than the one in Chicago... plus it's closer. Jake was the one driving on account of we used his car. I offered to let Mikey go ahead and ride shot gun for the trip as an act of "generosity". But Jake refused, much to Mikey's (and my own) disappointment. He said that it wouldn't be allowed due to legal issues with airbag regulations. I knew that this meant that Kayla and I wouldn't be able to sit together, but I asked her if she wanted to take the front instead of me. She declined the offer, saying I was older and bigger than her and needed more room. I just nodded and took my seat.
After so and so many hours, we arrived at Six Flags about an hour after opening. We (and by we, I mean Jake) decided it would be best if we stayed together as a group the entire time. First ride we went on was the Batman. Waiting in line took quite a while on account of this was the last day the park was open, or at least I think that's the reason. We all managed to get on the ride in the same row. I was holding the backpack at the time, so I had to put it in the holding box. Kayla had been sitting in close to the middle, but Jake and Mikey had taken up both sides of her. I sat on the edge next to Jake. After the ride was over, we all went to ride the Ninja, which was right next to it. Kayla and I were standing together in line with Mikey and Jake in front of us, but we still got separated. I ended up sitting next to Jake again, while Mikey sat by Kayla. Things were the same for the next 2 rides (one was Big Spin, and the other was Excalibur). I still don't know how he did it, but somehow, Jake managed to interject himself between us each time. But I did my best to hide my annoyance. If Kayla was annoyed, too, she did a good job of hiding it. I finally got an idea. I offered to go into a haunted house. Kayla agreed. I knew Jake would never go into one (there was childhood trauma involved with this, but I won't go into it unless you really want to know), and Mikey was scared of them as well. Jake objected at first, but then I offered the idea that we split up into 2 groups. He reluctantly agreed, and they walked off on their own after we set up meet times. I asked her a little later if she really wanted to go into the haunted house. She smiled, and said she didn't.
We decided to go to the Boss. The wait in line was kind of short considering it was Frightfest and the weekend. When we got on the ride, she suggested we have a contest to see who could hold up their hands the longest. I agreed, but somewhere along the ride I accidentally hit her in the face. I told her I was sorry, but she just laughed about it... mainly because it happened right when our picture was taken. I would have bought it if we had enough money. Either way, our next ride was the highland fling. If you don't know what it is, it's like a sideways ferris wheel that turns itself vertically during the ride. The cars hold 1-2 people. The line was kinda crowded, so I told her that to save room for the other people, that we should share a cage. She said she was cool with it. I asked her if she wanted to sit behind, or in front of me. I expected her to take the back, but she chose the front instead. So I spent that entire ride with her rubbing against my cock. Next we rode on the Screaming Eagle. We had the "who can hold up their hands the longest" contest again, and this time, it was a tie. By now, we were running out of time, so we agreed to only ride on 2 more rides. She suggested Mr. Freeze. I'm gonna say it was about an 45 min. wait. When we got on the ride, she sat on my right. We prepped ourselves, and waited for it to launch. The pneumatics pulled open, in one quick motion, we were sent off at about 70 mph. I didn't notice at first but some point during the first loop/hill, her hand ended up on my thigh. I wasn't even paying attention to the ride anymore. All I cared about was the fact that her hand was on my thigh. And the entire time, her grip kept getting tighter, and her hand kept sliding further up. I really couldn't tell if she was doing it as reflex or on purpose, but it was kinda weird. It actually hurt more than anything else. I think I might have marks from it (btw, this may be as good of a time as any, but that punch she gave me from when her braces were removed did bruise).
For our final ride, she and I decided to go on the ferris wheel. It really was a beautiful view. It was really cold and windy though. She was shivering a bit, so I offered her my jacket. She accepted it, made a comment on how nice I was and put it on. I actually kinda regretted it. I mean, it was that fucking cold. It was still worth it, though. Either way, met up with Mikey and Jake at the fountain in the entrance, and we started heading back home. I still offered Kayla the front seat, but she declined. Nothing really happened after that. Everyone went to bed (except me) right after we got home.
