I've begun to see alot more bullshit recently, and i've given it a name now. Fear Campaigns. Fear Campaigns are the medias attempt to control us. As children we're given a test to see if we're fit for an advance placement class. Before we're given the test we get a speech from teachers, and it usually contains a few main points. It usually talks about how we wont think we want this class but it'll help us for later on, and we'll become successful executives and grow up to be a famous rock stars, or the next Donald Trump. And then they tell us that if we fuck this up, then we're fuck ups, and we will always be fuck ups. That what we're told in school, that if we're failures now, we will always be failures. Then when we get home, and we're in our place of relaxation the TV gets its turn to morph us. This is where Fear Campaigns come from. We turn on the news, or we watch our favorite show, and we hear about Murder, AIDS, Rape, and War, thats what im used to. Then they cut to commercials, Buy the Accura, the Colgate, if you have bad breath they wont talk to you, if you have pimples girls wont fuck you. This is my entertainment, a horrible spiral of esteem killers used to keep me down and afraid. When we're afraid we'll consume, a threat of a disease is near, stock up on bottled water, so we go and buy water, and canned foods. They keep us in a state of panic so we cant breath and think. Then media uses everything as a scapegoat. They blame violence on 50 Cent, and video games. When I play a record its not going to yell at me for the way i look, its going to make me feel better about it. If i play a video game its going to calm me down because of the violence, yet the news, and the government feels the need to blame the good things. Thats the way the media chooses to spin it, they could make us think that the president causes violence in America. The president is dropping bombs over seas, yet Trent Reznor is a bad guy for singing some rock 'n' roll songs. Why arent we aloud to blame teachers that bring us down, and refuse to listen to us. Why cant we blame our parents who yell at us for being ourself, or abandon us for being different. Why not blame the president for setting an example of death for us. The horrible things that happen to teens can easily be traced back to authority figures in their life, but its easier to hear that a child committed suicide because of the music that made him feel better about himself, or the video game that relieved his stress. This is the system that rules us, a system of "freedom" and "choice". The choice that we have officials of freedom, if we have a system of voting and choice why do we need people to speak for us, arent we supposed to have our own voices. So I ask that you speak your mind, and use the voice that we should have. Break this zombie like culture that has been warped over the last 15 years and tell people what you actually think. At first people will hate you, because you arent giving them the buttered up answer they want to hear. But in time people will respect you for being a person, not the clone you were raised to be.
