I am currently studying to be a civil engineer. After 2 years of this, I have changed my mind into what I really want to do. Basically, I want to get into game design.
I have all the core computer classes taken care of, and now I want to move onto Fundamental Computer Graphical Engineering, and Game Theory.
Here comes the hard part, in order to take these classes I have to own a capable pc, and my pc is far from capable, its over 4 years old and falling apart. Basically I am asking for donations so that I can buy myself a good computer. I need this new rig before November 15th or I can't get into the courses unless I want to wait 8 months and pay over $4000 for one of their used ones. Right now I am going through payment problems in my apartment and a legal issue with my car. So I don't have the money to drop on a new pc.
I need about 1400. If you can and want to, please donate. If you can't that is cool too, but please spread the word. I am desperate. I want to be able to follow my dreams, but right now I just don't have the cash to do it.
