Red spot on left ball

Hi /lounge/,

today, my left ball really itched, so I scratched it a bit.  Now, I was going to fap, and felt that the place that had earlier itched hurt -- quite a lot (well, enough to keep me limp).

I took a look at the place, and there's a large red area with something that looks like a crack, or perhaps a small cut in the middle...

Help!  I know you guys have experience with these kinds of problems (I don't intend to kill myself just yet).

0st, take a good shower.

1st, clip the hair around the area so that you have good access.  Yo don't have to shave; just use scissors and be careful.

2nd, clean the incision and local area.

3rd, apply a bandage.

4th, wait a day, avoid water and then take off the bandage to see if healing has progressed.  If not, then apply some hydrocortisone to the area.  Check the wound for 2-3 more days to see if healing has progressed.

5th, if these don't help, see a doctor for more detailed diagnosis and treatment.
