How would i explain 4chan to someone who has never herd of it a good friend has snooped on my computer and found /b/ stuff and doesnt know wat it is how would i explain this stuff to them

/b/ is basically a place which is the background of the internet.  /b/ makes fads and memes that get really popular on many other internet message boards.  If you want to know more about it, maybe www.wikifaqs.net has somethings about this place.  I'm new here.
