Our Primary Objective

First, we will tie your hands and feet together with barbed wire, and tie your body down with the same. Then, we will lay hot cinders from the fireplace next to the bed across your belly and inner arms, standing over you like so many wraiths as you scream. Once the cinders have melted their way under your skin, we will latch fishing hooks through every nook and cranny of your naked body, each tied to a long fishing line. Each of us will grab one of the fishing lines and pull in a different direction, ripping skin, muscle, and whatever else comes off in the process. You will want to pass out from the pain, but we have drugs that will prevent you from losing consciousness. Pain will crush you like a grape beneath a hammer, the earth and sky will switch places, shatter, and be crushed back together by the weight of the pain. Then we will sprinkle salt across your body. There are no words to describe what that will do to you.

Finally, you will wake up, and realize it was just a nightmare.
