I am dyeing my hair as I post. I would like to know from any knowledgeable anons if (your hair is difficult to keep dye in) you should wait till the dye is dry on your hair or still moist.

To wash it out, it says you can keep it in anywhere from 20 min to 45 and I rinsed a section and it didn't look quite the color I'm going for

I have also reached the 45 min max

Dude, Kool-Aid is the only way to dye.
