I can't stand when something obscure has been around for years and all of the sudden all these fags on the internet on websites like 4chan and YTMND like it.

If your refering to the "All your base are belong to us" thing, then you can blame Newgrounds for that.  Hell, alot of memes, in truth, either spawned on 4chan, Newgrounds, or Myspace (as hard to believe as it is).  Umm, you can blame me for one on myspace, so sorry.
