My thoughts on communism

Name: Anonymous 2007-08-19 20:51 ID:fdG1/JZU

I'm a communist. I believe in equality. I believe that classes should be abolished. I believe everyone should have equal access to the means of production instead of the upper class having a monopoly on it.

The industrial and argicultural workers should rule instead of the people who exploit them. The working class is paid very little for the amount of actual work they do. The capitalists say manual labour is easy yet don't do it themselves.

How many people from the upper class have you seen build bridges and roads, fix cars, harvest fruits and vegetables, mine for minerals, transport goods, among many other things? None, yet they take credit for it. The upper class do have some jobs to claim that only they are qualified to do though, like doctors and pilots, but only because they have a monopoly on the means of training to have those jobs.

Why are so many people going off to universities to "become someone"? Because they see how little pay work offers them so they seek to exploit workers which offers more money.

Agreed completely.

However, I don't believe in the "Dictator of the Proletariat", and etc. as I feel that they are too authoritarian, so I consider myself a Social Anarchist or an Anarcho-Communist.

Thoughts?

Also, the Soviet Union wasn't Communist. >.>

It was a Authoritarian State-Capitalistic "Socialist" Republic.

An average high school student doesn't know shit, especially the "rebel" ones. OP seems to have a pretty good understanding on the teachings of communism.

You have to work smart as well as work hard. The machine sitting in front of you wasn't created by people picking cotton.

Are we just going to go around, bumping five year old threads like they're two year old threads?

The problem with communism is that it's an overbroad measure. A proper mathematician (unlike you dumb goyim) would know that the issue really lies with the ones who earn over 10x that of the minimum wage. Why take away shops from shopkeepers and factories from owners if they're not unnecessarily accumulating riches?

How do you know OP isn't still lurking?

Unless they poop golden eggs, I don't see why anyone would need remuneration beyond 10x the minimum wage.

I agree with everything mentioned, yet sole communism isn't necessarily a good thing. Combining the better parts of the key systems would end the monopoly, restoring personal significance in society.
