I can't be bothered to spell anything right 'cause I just wnat to rant so I suggest if *anyone* tries to actually read this, you copy & paste into MSWord and run a spellcheck first.
Yeah so like, I'm gonna bitch about my family for a bit so meh. RAWR, ANGST, etc etc.
So, my sister's back while my parents have fucked off up to Yorkshire. This means one thing and one thing only: I will spend the entire next week being pissed off non-stop.
See, my sister has this problem, it's called being a shithead. She'll bitch about anything and everything except stuff she likes. she's one of those people that can't stand to see other people having a good time when it's something that doesn't interest her. Oh yeah, and she's a hardcore, force-it-in-your-face vegetarien and feminist. While I don't usually have a problem with either of those things, she's a total bible-basher on both subjects, except instead of a bible she uses crappy vegentarian dieting books and girl-power magazines from the early 80's. She's also incredibly moody and hates the idea that anyone might be vaguely happy. Ever.
Add to this, the main problem; I've already mentioned how she bitches about anything that doesn't interest her, well when it comes to the subject of things she hates (and not just uninterested in), she'll do everything in her power to stop aeveryone else from enjoying them too.
See, I don't expect many other people to like Hi-5, or to even get why I like Hi-5. However, I don't expect other people to hide my CDs so I can't listen to them. I don't expect to be peacefully watching a DVD to then be told that everyone involved with the making of said DVD should be pushed off a cliff for being "too fucking happy for no reason" (note: literally just 5 minutes after bitching about Hi-5, I caught her singing a New Kids On The Block song. 'Nuff said) .
And it's not just Hi-5. It's Ev too. And Nightwish. And Lacuna Coil. And Within Temptaion. And Seether. And Lostprophets. And Guns N' Roses. And the Lord Of The Rings films. And the Kill Bill films. And the Terminator Films. And the Bridget Jones's Diary films. And... well, you get the idea.
The really annoying thing is, she thinks she's doing me some kind of favour, as if I somehow like having everything slagged off and bitched at. Gah.
Meh, fuck that.
Anyway, random other shit:
- So Rocky Gray and John LeCompt have yet another side-project band together. Well that's just fucking great that is. The new Ev album coulda been out by now if they hadn't fucked around with other bands, the pointless DVD, etc. You know they didn't do this kinda crap when they were working on Fallen. They just got on and made that. This album though, it's like, they just keep putting it off longer and longer. I'm all for them doing their own little thing and what-not, but c'mon, Ev (being the main band) should be their priority. These 'side-projects' are becoming bigger than Ev are.
- I've decided not to paint my nails anymore, because frankly I just can't be bothered. That, and I have weak nails and the nail polish remover stuff was eating away at the surface of my nails anyway. Fun.
- I just noticed that my hair seems to roughly halve the volume of my headphones. Thus I'm forced to tie it back lamely to get any sort of decent sound now.
- I keep getting IMs from this eejit Chris (Supersonic knows who I'm talking about) just saying shite like 'lol' and other mindless crap. As if I care. I'd block him, but then he really would have nobody to talk to and would probably kill himself.
- So my eye was bleeding the other day, I worked out it was 'cause I was gettng conditioner in my eye by accident in the shower which was irritating it and causing it to bleed. So... that's... fun.
- Of all the game releases this year, there's only three I give a damn about. All of which are being delayed here in the UK so the release over here is about 5 months later than the US. I fail to see how there can be such a huge delay. you know the US already has had Tekken 5 out for about a month and a half, over here they stil dunno exactly when it'll be out, they just think it'll probbaly be sometime late summer. Either the staff in Bath's Gamestation are bullshitting me/totally clueless, or there's something really screwed with how the game industry works.
