Yes, this is 4chan. A board full of pretentious computer nerds and or social outcasts who love to post pictures of giant cocks in the guise of obtaining "lulz" but really out of a mouthwatering hunger for said giant cocks to be inserted into their mouths.

Here you can be exposed to the internet phenomenon of the "meme". If your so inclined, you can memorize those memes and post them in your aim or livejournal profile so as to seem unique and interesting to your friends.

Then, you can go to an anime convention like otakon or anime boston and take part in a panel hosted by the 20-30 something year old creators of the site, who have somehow managed to create the ultimate money making scheme by providing a forum for crazed, young, nerdy, social outcasts, to post anonymously, therefore avoiding the need to establish credibility.

And, after all that you said, Jonathan, your jealously just screams at us.  You want.  We can sense this very clearly.  You want what we have.

I wouldn't mind the income. But thats like being jealous of a child pornography dealer. I'd be more forgiving of 4chan if the owner(s) didn't pretend to be woefully broke paupers doing it for the love of the internet community.

I'm mostly jealous of all the 4chan script kiddies. Invading myspace accounts must be immensely satisfying.
