If you don't know what's keeping you from it then you aren't mentally mature enough yet. Sorry to say that, but it's true. Take a step back before your screw yourself over. Pun intended.
Know how many women make the mistake of just sleeping with any guy? Yeah, I'm sure you want to become yet another statistic too. But you can be smart about it instead and be glad you didn't add another thing to regret later on.
Think about it, someone could give you a Ferarri that's yours to keep. Or you could just go for a cheap ride once or twice in a 1980's clunker of a car and not get anything out of it. You make the decision when to go for it, and what to get yourself into. Why settle for just anything when you can keep your eyes out and have something great, likely for the rest of your life?
If you look at it that way, there's little temptation in "losing it" just because someone tells you to/everyone else is doing it.
It's your enjoyment, not theirs.
