Ok I would characterize myself as a pretty laid back guy. I am confident and have the cocky/funny attitude its just that I'm not that loud or interested in being the center of attention when in groups of people. I'd rather just sit back and listen and interject with comments or jokes.
So im out with this girl last night and we're having ok conversations. She talked ALOT, probably to the point of starting to annoy me. I would say the conversations were 70/30.
Got back to her crib, found out she likes to partake in the green a little bit. I indulge as well which makes me even more reserved and kills my ambition to make moves out of paranoia. I did partake in KINO though and was grabbing her, snuggled up with her but never made that move for a kiss. She reciprocated in all this and was receptive to my advances, its just that I didn't get too far by my own choice. There were a lot of good signs there with her continually putitng herself in positions where I could admire her body. She HAD to know i could see everything and was checking her out in these positions. This is my first date out of a 3.5 yr relationship so I'm still learning to get my balls back so to speak and take charge.
The whole time she was having a good time, laughing a lot. But then she started trippin at me smoking too much. Saying how she was woried for me if I would be able to go to work the next day. I repeatedly told her to stop trippin about it and then I eventually said I had to go and she walked me out to my car where I simply just gave her a hug and left. Another thing that was brought up is she is 6 months older then me so she brought taht up a few times in a jokingly matter.
So my quesiton is what are your perceptions on this situation? How do you know when its a good time to go in for a kiss? When you guys are just talking and there is a break or something? Cause I was pretty snuggled with her and had my face about 6 inches away from hers but just never had the balls to go through with it. I know I have it in me, because before my 3.5 yr relationship I always went in for the kill even after a first date. It just seems like I forgot the timing of when to do things! Thanks for the help/
