I've got an identity crisis. I feel like we're just objects, repeating the same mistakes of our previous generations over and over again, meat for the profit machine, hating each other, dying anonymoulsy, kicking the poorest and most helpless and bowing down to the rich and powerful just to keep hold of our little patch, we're still peasants, absically, and if our hut is a bit nicer and our village a bit more powerful than the neighbouring one, we feel proud and take pelasure in it and uphold this shitty way of life because we think it benefits us...but they just hit us harder and harder, work longer, for less, forget your family, community, friendships, solidarity, your identity...they re-write history and write us out of it, as if our ancestors never fought for every little scrap we got given...they make us feel drugged, doped, and tell us we're free....yeah....I feel rootless, dumped in this city where everyone is keeping their head above water...and everywhere you go its the same....people hate their neighbour and love thier opressor. that's humans for you. even the poorest people find a way to feel special by hating on someone even poorer. This is the world and there's nothing I can do and the bullshit will just keep on until I die and long beyond this.
