Pr0n iz degrading to teh wimminz OMG

What's with this talk I hear and read sometimes about porn being "degrading to women", and also "treating women like objects"? I don't get it. I mean, I look at porn all the time, but it doesn't make me think less of the women in the porn, let alone ALL women. I just fail to see the problem.

And about the "treating women like objects" thing, it's not like I'm hurting them. So, again, I fail to see the problem.

It's also worth noting that I treat the women and girls in my life with respect, and porn has never changed that, nor will it ever.

Now what about men? There's male porn, but I don't see anyone making a fuss about that. So why is it always, "Porn is degrading to women," and not, "Porn is degrading to people"?

if porn objectifies anyone, it objectifies /attractive/ women. "no, ma'am, porn does not objectify you. you're ugly."
