Little Pest

So my family's cat (not ours; I didn't want one, but they insisted on getting one anyway) was being a pest, so I put her in the bathroom and closed the door. She just kept wanting to play fetch with a ball, and was constantly rubbing up against my leg, back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. It's like, shoo fly, don't bother me! It's 2 a.m., everyone's in bed, and it's "me time". I don't want some cat rubbing against me while I'm getting a erection from the porn I'm trying to look at.

So I'm just wondering, is what I did cruel? Her litter box is in there, I put her food and water dishes in there as well as a ball for her to play with, so I don't think I'm being too cruel. But I don't know. What do you think, Lounge?
