Should you pay on a date?

I hear some people say you shouldn't pay on date cause it really won't make or break how the girl sees you unless it's a really cheap meal.

if it's a real date date and you asked her and took her to wherever and whatever then you should pay. But, if you're just hanging out with a girl you want to fuck then paying for everything makes you look pathetic and easily manipulated.
