How would you react?

Sorry in advance if this is the wrong board for this...

So this past friday me and some friends went to a frat house to party, there is (duh) a lot of drinking going on. One of my friends (female) is totally wasted (I find out later) and starts sucking the face off some guy she knows from class. Now, I've had a pretty serious crush on her for awhile, so I'm thinking 'damn' but whatever, not her fault I'm 'just friends' material.

Anyway, I kinda point it out to my best friend, 'cause there's not a whole lot to talk about, and he knows I got the hots for her. This sparks a conversation which leads to him confessing that him and her had sex about two weeks ago, when they were both on the rebound (he'd just gotten dumped, she'd had a sort of mutual breakup). Now he's telling me how bad he feels about it and he's been acting real awkward since.

Ok, now... I was pretty annoyed, this shot up my weekend pretty bad, I drank to excess for sure. But I don't know, I'm not really mad at anyone but myself. I mean, I never could get up the nerve to make a move, so do I even deserve to be angry at anyone else? I guess I am still somewhat annoyed that he didn't think this was something he could tell me two weeks ago, though the mental image he has given me is not one that I particularly enjoy having.

What it comes down to is this, how would you feel? What do you think of the whole situation?

And feel free to call me a blubbering vagina or what have you for having to ask strangers on the internet this question. Serious answers appreciated too.

Honestly I'm just trying to get the opinions of people who don't know me, and it's late, and I'm writing a paper, and I'm bored so... this is what I decided to do.

God, looking back at this, it reads like some sort of stupid diary... meh

I'd be pretty bothered, but I get like that, too.  I think when you get the hots for someone you have these hopes/expectations for how things ought to turn out in your mind.  Then things happen and those expectations and hopes aren't met.  It's really disappointing.

I think it would be hard, though, not to think less of the girl for being so promiscuous doing your friend one week and then sucking face with some guy the next.  Maybe she's not really girlfriend material.
