The Mayan calender predicts the world will end in 2012. That's in six years from now. Anyone have any thoughts on this? As for me im Christian, and according to the bible I doubt the other half of the revelations will occur in six years. But then again, Jesus states no man will know the coming of the final days of the world. Are we really the final generation? Their are obvious signs somethings up. Hell, Global warming will kill maybe even. In our current state, by the year 2050( We'll be still alive if were not shot or die from chronic masturbation), Global warming will be so bad to an extend wear their be major flooding, elimination of animals, pollution, and disease. And did you hear on the news? Pegiunes are rapidly dieing because of global warming.

No it doesn't, it just ends there.  For all we know those Mayans may have gotten lazy.  Nowhere in the calender does it say, 'World ends'.  It might, but it's extremely doubtful.  And I though you were slightly intelligent, /lounge/.  Shame on you.

I've read that the only thing thats gonna happen in the end of the mayan calendar is a full solar eclipse or something like that.

Gotten lazy? Their calendar went hundreds of years ahead from when it was made... We don't have any calendars like that except on computers and shit. We just can't expect an ancient civilization to plan things out in stone (literally) more than several hundred years into the future...
