Why do people insist on paying a hundred dollars on casual wear that says "blah" when they can get the same thing for much less, albeit without the "blah"?
I can understand if they're rich and a hundred-or-so bucks is nothing to them, but I know people who are pretty much poor that buy 90-dollar shirts and stuff, that are not even for special occasions. It's ridiculous. I mean, if it gets ruined somehow, that's a hell of a lot of money (for them) down the drain, and they're just hurting themselves.

Really, though, if I was going to pay 90 dollars Canadian for a hoodie, it had better allow me to breathe underwater or something.

Well popularity. Name brand shit like american eagle/ hot topic makes them think they will attract girls..and it's true..IF YOU LOOK GOOD. If you truly look good, you can wear the same damn thing everyday and girls will still want you. Now if you are OK looking, you can wear the same thing, but just not get as much attention as you would wearing name brand. If your ugly..well wearing name brand can make you look good IN SOME PEOPLES EYES. But really I stopped giving a fuck about wearing name brand clothes in like 8th grade? I found it pointless and I was getting the same amount of attention I was without.
