Any idea how to do this? I would like to edit my bookmarks so that opening 4chan brings me straight to the board menu. Using "http://www.4chan.org/nav.php?disclaimer=accept"; doesn't work, as this doesn't keep the frame loaded to the side of the page.
http://dis.4chan.org/lounge/ is the correct link to /lounge/. Know how to find out the actual real link to a board? Right click on it. A magical submenu appears giving you all sorts of new options! Wow!
And for another amazing bit of news, 4chan uses frames! Yes, advanced technology future that hides the whereabouts of the actual location from the address bar! But fear not! Opening a link in a new window will show you the correct location. Astounding, isn't it!

you sarcastic cocksuckers, those links don't keep the frame. the OP wants a single link that will show the frame and the lounge menu at the same time.

den mayb u need 2 lern 2 html?
Open Notepad, paste this in, save as "something.html" and set it as your homepage or something. Or better yet make a keyword for it in your bookmarks.
<html>
<head><title>My 4chan homepage</title>
</head>
<frameset cols="18%,*" frameborder="0" border="0">
<frame src="http://www.4chan.org/nav.php">;
<frame src="http://dis.4chan.org/lounge/"; name="main">
<noframes>
Your broswer sucks! Get a better one.
</noframes>
</frameset>
</html>

Uh, that's weird. Those two ;'s aren't supposed to be in there. The lounge added them in for some reason after I posted it.

I think you misunderstood -- I don't want to be taken directly to Lounge. (nowhere in my post did I say this) I simply want to disable the "I Agree..." disclaimer and see only the board list when I visit. Since I frequent 4chan several times a day, (yes, I have no life outside of this website) it's pretty encumbering to go through that disclaimer all the time.

Here's what I do. In Firefox you can create keywords for bookmarks, in IE you just make the title be the keyword.
For /e/ I merely type "e" into the address bar and I go right there. You can make them as simple as that, one letter for any website. To shorten it even more (since I'm lazy like that) I hit F6 (F4 in IE) to go to the address bar.
F6, e, Enter. Simple, eh?
From there you can just use the links at the top of every page to get to any other board you don't have bookmarked.

something's wrong with your cookie acceptance then, you shouldn't see the disclaimer every time you visit if you visit often

you could also use filtering software (some ad blocking software like Ad Muncher provides this) or some plugin for Firefox that lets you change incoming html to whatever you specify.
You can specify that the discaimer bit be replaced with the menu bit.

I checked into the cookies and 4chan sets one right as you go to the homepage (not after you click it, weird huh?) Anyhow, set your options to "Ask me everytime" to make sure you got it, or check the Exceptions to see if 4chan.org is blocked. Then it won't show the disclaimer for a week, so says teh all powerful cookies.

Press Alt+F4
That should bypass it.
And if that doesn't work, install bonsai buddy and that will definitely fix it up.
