My favorite style is the really strong stout (Russian Imperial, Double, whatever), such as Alesmith Speedway, Deschutes the Abyss, and North Coast Old Rasputin. Why do I like them? For the flavors, ranging from roasted coffee and choclateyness to oakey, molasses and vanilla. For the smooth and thick mouthfeel. And lastly, the buzz - hovering around 10% ABV for these.
I like many other styles too, including lighter ones, but I feel like going into too much detail would be a waste here.
