I am posting this because I feel that if I do not get this out in writing, then it will linger inside me, building up pressure until it explodes and I descend into complete and total insanity. I am so tired of this same old shallow existence, day in and day out. I am tired of obligations, and pointless busy work, all this meaningless shit they try to shove down my throat at school. Day in and day out, my parents and my teachers are in my face, telling me to do my work, and giving me all this bullshit about how important good grades are. I swear, they're all brainwashed, every single one of them. My mother calls me a good-for-nothing lazy asshole. My own fucking mother, for gods sake! I remember, back when I was young, I was so happy, I didn't have anything to worry about, and I had bright hopes for my future. I had a positive outlook on life. But now it all disgusts me so much... my school, my world. I mean, this is an awful world we live in. Murder, rape, and torture going on day and night. I find it hard to sleep at night thinking of all the people dying and suffering.

until you find yourself in college, without anyone to force it on you, and you find your grades falling. if you're smart enough you'll last for a while, but if you don't care,
you'll be out of school with 40-80K debt with nothing to show for it, all because you didn't have the drive to do what you should
