My 21st birthday is coming up in a few weeks and my friends have been drilling me about what I might want.
All I can think of is my first beer.
I've been a Pepsi and Pepsi product drinker all my life. So 4chan what would you consider the Pepsi of the beer companys to be?

Michelob for me~
I turned 21 earlier this month, and to be honest my 21st birthday wasn't that great. It's not fun to drink by myself, and when I'm with friends I could get alcohol anyway, so no change really --- except that now I'll be expected to buy the beer sometimes. -.-;
Oh, and happy bday in advance.

Goose Island or Heineken.

Since CocaCola beats Pepsi by vote of recognition or popularity, I think Budweiser beats Heineken. So Heine it is.
Hahah oh wow. If you drink pepsi so much, you probably won't like the pepsis and cokes of the beer world as they will taste worse... and you'll end up drinking cocktails like >>11. If you want GOOD beer, >>8's Goose Island suggestion was good. My favorite breweries down here in California are Ballast Point, Alpine, Alesmith.

I really like Heinekein, but if you mean dark ones too it's really just your choice, there are hundreds of ways to make dark beer, some add honey, some add chocolate even, really depends on your taste.

The best choclatey stouts I've had don't add actual choclate, it's just all in the malts they use, the brewing process, etc. Deschutes The Abyss, North Coast Old Rasputin, and Alesmith Speedway Stout - the ultimate stouts I've had the pleasure to attain locally and also my top three overall (I'm a big hophead, too.)
