My dad left poop in the tub. I cleaned it up because I had to use the shower next, and asked him as nicely as possible to clean up that kind of thing in the future. This happened once before like 8 years ago. Both times it was a little bit of poo, like he didn't wipe his ass.
Now he hasn't talked to me in five days and my mom confided in me that he is very mad at me. He feels I embarassed him. I can't help but think that not pooping in the tub in the first place would have saved some embarassment later.
Am I wrong for drawing the line at cleaning up another man's shit? He isn't incontinent or physically unable to clean himself, and I'm running out of reasons to explain his behavior in a sane way. Maybe one of you psych majors can reason it out for me.
