I want to date a deaf girl

Theres this cute one at work, but whenever I try to say anything to her, she can't really understand me. She can only read lips. Makes it hard to mack on her :(

Item number 2: Not all deaf people understand ASL. Some are English speaking, and there are other languages (both signed and spoken) out there. Personally, I'd say the most potentially interesting sign language is the one that started in Nicaragua. Scuttlebutt has it that Nicaraguan Sign Language began when Sandinistas threw a lot of deaf kids who couldn't speak (or make coherent signs) in any existing language together, and the kids mixed and matched the pidgens they used for communication with family members together, thus coming up with a new language.
