Oh dear God, that is awful!
I don't know what Americans get, but I heard them complaining about having the Sharingan and Byakugen called "Copy eye" and "Evil eye", in the UK, they call them their real names, and they kept in words like Jutsu, Sensei, everything. Having seen the wonders of FUNimation's dubbed DBZ and 4Kids horrendous dub of One Piece, and I cringing at the thought of what may have been made of Naruto, but, it's one of the best dubs I've seen. They edit a lot out, but I can watch the Japanese episodes for that, so, it's okay.. but.. I don't know what's going on with the American dubs and English ones being different. They still have Americans accents, but for instance, I once watched a clip of Dragonball on Toonami.com, and the dubbing was completely different and God awful. In the UK at least, it's not only bearable, it's actually WATCHABLE. I couldn't believe it. And.. no, that's.. not meant to be a Naruto joke.
