banning of tor nodes?

well,
it seems that I am forbidden from viewing any of the image boards (banned) because I choose to use tor (well, actually, I don't choose, its the only way to get through the great wall of china we have here).

I understand the reasons why such nodes were banned (you can thank the pedo's for that) but still, how far is too far?
