So is the tripcode thing worth it?

I don't understand why some people use it. I'm using it right now. It's not like someone is going to pretend to be me and post CP. If they did their IP would be different than mine so why even have tripcodes?

Tripcodes are for attention whores. There are only two worthy people left who continue posting to 4chan these days. Everyone else who uses a tripcode is utterly worthless and have nothing of value to say.
