Well, on /s/ anyway. I could care less about SG girls, or 'real' girlfriends, or even fatties, one way or the other. If there aren't any threads that interest me then I'll go away and fap somewhere else or post something I like in the hopes it'll seed some more of the same.
But the casual racism, and the /b/tard retards who think it's funny to post scatty, goldenshowering dickgirl furries, or real anorexics, or acid victims. And the disappearing threads (always seem to be the black girl threads, funnily enough) that vanish off the front page for no obvious reason. But it's mostly the lack of moderation, the lack of care about /s/'s existance as a community.
Ideally, it would be nice to see a forum where people respected other people's concept of beauty, whether it's plain girls with an SG logo on their pics, or black girls, or asian, or muscle-y, or plump, or girls who are pretty to no-one but their boyfriends.
But it's not going to happen when the mods can't be bothered to moderate what rules there are, and can't be contacted to petition for rules against intolerance. Fuck, even just a rule against overt racism would improve the place a hundredfold. _If_ it was applied even-handedly.
So, I'm about to go home to visit my folks in the sticks, beyond any connection to the internet, for a couple of weeks. When I get back, I don't know, I'll probably visit /s/ again, but I don't know how long I'll stay.
Maybe fewer visits and visitors is what 4chan's strategy is about these days. Gotta take the strain off those servers, perhaps. Or maybe it's about attracting as many visitors as possible, and letting 14-year-old sociopaths with time on their hands post the vilest crap they can compose is the way to do that. Awful lot of evil 14-yo's in the world, after all.
