Why people refuse to believe God exist

Name: caithvalentine 2006-11-15 10:47

There are alot of Christian topic being formed all around but no one has yet said their reasons why they don't believe in God.

Is it just because you can't see God that you feel he don't exist, or because you feel nothing should be greater than humans, or you don't just want to believe God exist?

Maybe you could ask your cat and see if he's atheist too.

I'm agnostic/atheist because I don't believe in things I don't know about. I don't know that God exists because there's no evidence for it. And according to the holy texts, what is written about him doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. In today's world, we don't get the feeling that someone is watching over us to make sure that we're doing the right thing. There is no such thing. If God actually existed, and there was evidence for it, I suppose I'd have to believe that he exists, but he might actually be frightening. However, I seriously doubt he actually exists.
