I don't get the whole god thing.

It's funny how when people who aren't religious start hearing voices and try to please an invisible, all powerful person who will grant them entry to his kingdom of happiness if they are good are sent to an insane asylum and administered treatment. But when religious people talk to an invisible person and trying to make him happy, they're considered normal. It doesn't make sense.

I'm not trying to say there is or is not a god. What I AM saying is that the one thing that's more unlikely than the big bang, evolution,or a god creating the universe, is a god caring about what you do or do not do in your life, out of billions of people.

I talk to my imaginary friend at school, ask him for help on my homework, what I should aspire to be, etc, and I need to go to the counselor. My parents are notified. Oddly, the very same day, a kid gets in a car accident and we're asked, repeatedly, by teachers, to pray for him, and hope god keeps him safe.

The only difference between them and me:

When I talk to my imaginary friend, ask him for help and guidance, and inquire about what I should do, I'm joking.

Except you're not joking, you're insane.
