Average dick size.....

So I was talking to a friend the other day and we got on the topic of dick size and he was saying average is 3 or 4 inches and I was like yeah right more like 5 or 6. Now I'm not a guy but I'm pretty sure 3 inches is not average so now i'm curious. Guys what do you think is average?
