As a non-violent gamer with non-violent gamer friends and aquaintances, I have to disagree with Jack Thompson's belief that violent videogames cause people to become violent. However, some fellow gamers have blown things way out of proportion by becoming hostile towards the guy, calling him an idiot and a douche, harassing him, and making threats, which only serves to appear to prove the man's point and ruin any chance of us non-violent types being able to prove him wrong any time soon.
