4chon, I dunno what I ate, but whenever I do a small fart it smells like pure death. And I somehow have to fart lots. What could it have been that I ate? Aaaaarg

Anything that contains a lot of cellulose will do that. This includes almost all vegetables, doritos, beans, etc...
Usually smelly farts are caused by eating a lot of protein, so I bet you ate something that had meat and beans together in it.

Methane is the least offensive fart smell. Meat is almost completely digested in the gut and is not responsible for much of the components of the smell. Sulphur gives off a strong smell and I know that ther is a lot of sulphur in eggs.

I remember farting lots of sulphur when I changed diets suddenly. Don't remember to what though. Horrible horrible smell.

that might explain it, amino acids, proteins etc.. all get broken down and absorbed easily but it's nitrogen is released and I guess a lot of nasty nitrogen compounds are left in dead gut bacteria

However, if the bacteria in your gut uses it for energy instead of scaffolding (what proteins are for) it leaves behind a nitrogen atom completely useless in metabolism.
