Anyone know any good blog hosting sites apart from Blogger or Myspace? Thanks.

Just get your own domain.

They're under 30 for the first month, then probably around 5 after that.

That's all you'll need, unless you're going to get a shit ton of visitors, which, to be honest, I doubt.  You'll be lucky to get one or two judging by where you're posting.

I would normally suggest Blogger, since they give you full html control. That's the best service available, your only other option is to get an old computer, install any flavor of linux you like, buy a domain, and install wordpress.
