Which came first the Chicken or the Egg?

I'm curious as to how many people on 4chan are as smart as me.
This question actually has a very simple answer and it has stared mankind in the face for centurys and nobody (except probably me) has figured it out.

Interestingly enough the very first poster got it right.
The Chicken came first!

Why?

Don't think to hard on it or you'll hurt yourself.

If the egg had come first there wouldn't have been anything to hatch it so logically the Chicken came first, it didn't hatch or anything it was just there.

hmm guess theres not many people with an IQ over 110 on 4chan hardly anyone got it except for #2, 6 and 8.
