Multi-Culturalism

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-01 10:00

What is with all this pointless multiculturalism? Why does everyone think it's a good idea to just let the poorest highest crime-rate people on the planet just flood in? If they're as hard working and honest as you all say they are, let them overthrow their own corrupt government instead of coming here and taking what we've got.

I know we stole it from the indians, but come on now, we can't all be idealistic assholes here. The morality that applies to individuals can't be easily applied to societies.  As we ate them alive, so too will these invaders.

if a fat lazy mexican is more suited to your job and therefore you get fired so that he gets hierd, then maybe you chould work harder.

Truth told.

Not the point.  You keep on talking about how hard working they are, how they contribute to society or some junk like that.  They don't hire illegals because they work harder...  They hire them because they work for less.  Or do you think that we should be held to the same standard as the average (illegal, anyway) mexican, living twenty to a house that would usually only house five of us, eating horrible food made of by-products that sells for a fraction of the kind of stuff we eat, usually all taking the same car to work because we all tend to work at exactly the same place (E.G. somewhere that needs tons of cheap labor).

Multiculturalism doesn't work without strict controls.  The romans were cosmopolitan, sure, but they didn't just bring the tribes they conquered in and say "Have at it."  They had extended process of becoming a "True" roman; you had to go through all kinds of trials and stuff, often military service, to prove that you were more dedicated to being roman than to the tribe you came from.

ALSO, there's really no use for that kind of cosmopolitanism unless you're trying to conquer the world.

Look after your own first.  The rest of the world can come when you've got that under control.

If you want to keep your job, then yes, you should set yourself to the same standard.  Whiny bitch, you aren't entitled to a job.

I guess you're one of those people would like to see your own culture collapse for the sake of profit, eh?

Culture?

What culture?

Oh well.  It was semi-cool while it lasted.
