i dont. the media is full of shit. most of it anyway. i am not interested in some writer's exaggerations for the sake of people-interest so i dont read newspapers. if i want entertainment, i'll get a pulp novel, not a rag that pretends to report truthfully on news.
i still like magazines though because they dont take themselves as seriously.

once you learn the concepts and various grades of propaganda and the power balance and its structure, then viewing news media objectively becomes as entertaining as any other form of art.
newspapers, unlike television, have a lot of things to expose you to and many words to use - so it's rather like a study to assess a single article. it's more work than just looking at fox news and extracting their purposes.
