Why do all fast food Cokes taste different?

Anyone notice that Wendy's Coke tastes like absolute crap? It has a horrible after taste and seriously takes like shit. Why did they not stick with Pepsi?


McDonalds Coke is good, but it tastes like they add 3x as much sugar to the mix as any others

Subways coke tastes like normal bottled coke.

In britain they water down the cokes and pepsi's in fast food reteraunts.  I dont often go to them though cause i get the burger king blues
