Why do all fast food Cokes taste different?

Anyone notice that Wendy's Coke tastes like absolute crap? It has a horrible after taste and seriously takes like shit. Why did they not stick with Pepsi?


McDonalds Coke is good, but it tastes like they add 3x as much sugar to the mix as any others

Subways coke tastes like normal bottled coke.

I know what you mean. One would think that it would taste the same all over, since it is made at some coke place and shipped to the resturaunts and such, but for some reason it is different place to place.

Maybe it's the cups that are used? Something in them?

Maybe it has to do with being stuck in the same room as grease and other disgusting bits that we pay extra to eat.
