Would this be acceptable socially?

So I'm liking this girl. We dated once before, but broke up and haven't spoken in a year and a half. Now we are hanging out again and all is good. In fact, things are even better before, except we aren't dating now. Just having fun.

Now, I'm considering asking her out again, but here is the issue:
I am 18, will be turning 19 in October, and will be a Freshmen in college, still local. She is 16 and will be an 11th grader. She doesn't turn 17 until Feburary or so.

Is that to big a difference? When we dated she was 14 and I was 17, which felt kind of dumb at the time.

Also, lemme tell you, she is very hot. I have no pix with me right now, but take my word for it.
