For some reason, whenever I'm awake at 2am I act like a psychobitch with PMS. I get angry and cry for no reason.

This never happens at any other time of day, no matter how long I've been awake.

chemical concentrations in the body do a kind of dance the rest of the world calls biological cycles.  some are 24 hour periodic, some are monthly (mostly for women), etc.

i know people who can only be productive between about 11pm and 1am.  others can't even think at those hours.  ssrly it varies.
