Now almost one week goes like this: I go to sleep and BAM am wide awake at 6am. Why, I dunno. Then I need an hour to get to sleep again and the whole sleep thing feels so fucking dragged out. Normally, when you sleep, time flies by pretty quick, but for me now every minute seems like a whole hour and I feel exhausted in the morning.
This is typical for you americans. You're over stimulated by all the chemicals in the shit you eat, and the lack of exercise means you don't get tired.

Stop complaining. I sleep 1-3 hours a day for about a week, then crash for 12-16 hours and spend the next 2-5 days without any sleep whatsoever. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum.
*That's* insomnia.

Exercise and eat healthier. Are you saying you wake up at 6am no matter what? Go to bed at 9pm or go to bed at 5am, you wake up at 6am? Otherwise just suck it up for a day or two, go to bed later and use an alarm clock to adjust your sleeping cycle.
