Think of this situation:
There's a 3 days long festival coming (a bunch of rock concerts). There's a girl (call her Girl A) I used to hang out with (along with a couple of friends). We're just friends but may became more. She wants to go on one day of the festival. I want to go too, but there's the problem: there's another girl (Girl B). She called me up and said she wants to go on all 3 days and needs somebody to accompany her as she don't want to go alone. So:
- Girl A and Girl B don't know each other.
- I like Girl A, she's a good friend, but I don't know if I have any chance to became her boyfriend.
- We did some stuff with Girl B (kissed and so) but I don't love her, and I don't think her as my girlfriend.
- If I don't go with Girl A, she'll go alone with another guy from the group (maybe they're already more than friends)
- If Girl A and Girl B meets, I'll totally lose the chance to get together with Girl A
- I think that Girl B may only want to use me, like to give her a lift to the concerts and even pay for her, which I don't want to do. The 3 days altogether costs a whole fortune.
So what would you do in a case like this? How can I be sure that Girl B just uses me (in which case I would surely dump her) and how can I find out if I have a chance at Girl A?
