The annoying thing about proxies

The annoying thing about proxies is that idiots who like to spam and get themselves banned use them, then when they get banned they just use another proxy. In the mean time, people using the proxied IP end up getting banned instead. So people are free to spam and post crap, with the added bonus of getting other people banned.

On the upside, despite having been banned due to the above, I can always just proxy and use the boards anyway :/ Makes you wonder what the point of using the ban button is.

Have you realized that's essentially what IPs are (ISPs keep track of who got what IP at what time), and that you can still proxy that?

I always liked Captain Picard a little better than Captain Kirk, he looked more serious. More importantly, he was an European. Even if he was a Frenchy :( .
