are the lives of parents worth more

are the lives of parents/carers worth more than childless folks? this popped into my head the other day. is it more moral to let a parent and a childless person die, if you had to choose one?
or, if you were stranded on a desert island with a bunch of other people, and there was one pie that survived as food, should a person with children get the pie?

people are just too obsessed with the idea of having related blood. me personally, i don't see the big deal. sharing similar dna doesn't mean anything, bonds can form without needing that technicality.. and blood relations can be assholes.
