Threadkilling, I don't like it

Have you ever thought that after you were the last to post in a thread that you might have killed it?

You might have fucked up the thread's energy or its intended or unintended momentum. You either fucked up, or you should get a pat on the back for exposing a stupid thread.

There's another possibility and that is the thread met its end on its own. That's likely most of the threads here.

Every once in awhile, I think I might have killed a thread, and to those that started it, and to those that participated in it, I apologize. If the thread was something that had no real shelflife, I did a good deed.
