No, the Ferengi are only Jew like in one stereotypical way.... their cheapness and drive to acquire money.  I never understood the stereotype that Jews are are cheap and want to get rich.  Who doesn't want to get rich?  I live in an Italian neighbourhood, and they're all cheap as fook.  I am also Italian, and I'm the cheapest of them all.

I always thought of the Klingons as being like the Japanese in WWII, the Ferengi as Americans (unwavering greed and near-worship of capitalistic ideas), and the Bajorans as the Jews.  The Cardassians don't really have much of a stereotypical personality, but I suppose the closest thing to compare them to is maybe the Soviets?
