is it true that the ideal woman is small, short and thin?
i have trouble believing that any man could be interested in a tall and lanky girl, i mean, that's not a very feminine physique is it?

The idealized woman, by western standards, is tall, skinny (but not anorexic), and curvy, preferably with small hands and big breasts and long hair. I believe the tall factor (up to a point) helps emphasize long legs, long hair, and an otherwise slender physique. The mind is attuned more to horizontal detail than verticle. A taller woman, all else being equal, could appear skinnier since she'd stand out from the background more. Hence, less to compare her to, and thus she sees skinnier. (This is why the moon looks smaller while above than close to the horizon.)
I, however, much prefer a shorter girl, and rather have a girl slightly overweight than underweight. I find shortness cute and very feminine. Models, on the other hand, appear to me exagerated and artificial. I prefer "cute" over "beautiful" any day.
